The drier mounts into the #6 high pressure line between the condenser and the evaporator.
Containing a desiccant, the drier removes moisture to prevent damage to other components in the system
as well as filters out any loose particles that may be present in the system.
The receiver Drier will work both Refrigerants R-12 & HFC-134a

Always mount in a cool place.
Inside the car is acceptable.
Mount in the vertical position with the connections on top.

On HFC-134a systems, DO NOT charge the system by the sight glass.
When properly charged, the sight glass in a 134a system will still show milky.
It is recommended to replace the drier anytime a connection in the system has been opened.
